EVO 2016 offers open online professional development sessions and workshops to teachers of English around the globe.
Since 2001, the Electronic Village Online, a project of TESOL’s CALL Interest Section, has been offering free online professional development sessions to language teachers world-wide.
The Electronic Village Online (EVO 2016) is a project of TESOL’s Computer-Assisted Language Learning Interest Section (CALL-IS). The EVO has been offering free, open online professional development sessions and workshops to teachers of English around the globe since 2001.
This year, EVO offers 14 five-week sessions on a variety of topics, including flipped learning, teaching pronunciation, using Moodle, creating electronic textbooks, using Minecraft to teach English, using technology for CLIL, understanding copyright, language games in virtual environments and more. Please note that registration for the sessions will take place from January 3 to January 10, 2016. The sessions begin on January 10 and continue until February 14.
